The cereals in my cupboard are: shredded wheat. (I don't eat cereal at home, but on the road my traveling cupboard is a ziplock of shredded wheat, a ziplock of coffee, a ziplock of tea, a bowl, a spoon, a cup, and an electric kettle. Milk and bananas are replenished as we go.)
For dinner, I like to make: Tunisian fish soup.
I'll eat sushi, but not: salami.
My coolest article of clothing: wore out.
My most prized possession: At the moment I'm relying most on my car.
My TV screen is: curved, grainy, dark.

Wackiest fan encounter: The other night at a reading I was heckled by a noisy air conditioner but fans don't seem to cause me any trouble.

The best perk of being a celebrity is: having an excuse to drive around the country.

Dream car: I like those little Mini Coopers. Black with a white roof.
When I fly I have to have: a drink.
People would be surprised that I: am thinking of them, even though I haven't been in touch.
Favorite cartoon: One dinosaur says to the other: When they ask for occupation, I usually say "Roam the Earth." (I'm writing this as we drive across Kansas.)
My iPod playlist: didn't get as far as putting any music on the iPhone before we left the house. Forgot the CDs too...
I can't start my day without: having at least an hour of solitude. I mean, I can and sometimes I do, but I don't like to.
If I had to spend $10 at my favorite fast food joint, I'd order: a pizza.
