I have died twice thinking about America. To sing for the little elephant who gave Pluto a moon, then watched it collapse. To suffocate ourselves for permission to see hydrogen ice. The child says there is no obtrusive desire to worship ice crystals that form on isotopes. I say there are eighteen reasons to couch ourselves on the matrix. The child says praise for army figurines who live in the underworld. I have seen a planet and believe in the American Frontier across one thousand bridges. The child believes in sea lions who wake from their sleep and groan while strangled in weeds.
